Bantam Girls Wildcats
Inducted in 2019
Even though they had no real sponsors and no official league to play in the Bantam Girls spend the summer of 1977 tuning up for he provincial playdowns. Playing exhibition games against other girls teams in the area including the Juvenile Wildcats the girls were able to develop their lacrosse skills. Under the guidance of coach Deb King and manager Jane Shaw they improved dramatically over the summer and all of their practices and skill development paid off in their path to the provincial Championships.

The championships were held in Mississauga and the girl did very well in he preliminary games. The defeated teams from Mississauga, Elora, and Beaches to get to the final against a strong team of Elora. In the finals they defeated Elora twice by the scores of 8-2 and 9-1 to win the Ontario Bantam Girls Championship.
